The Australian Food Institute is co-directed by Nicole Jupp & Todd Nelson and offers clients a range of services incorporating food safety related training in production, hospitality and retail operations and consultancy advice. The Australian Food Institute provides training in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), the development of Food Safety Programs and Quality Assurance Systems including the provision of documentation and 2nd party auditing of company procedures.
Services Available:

 

The Australian Food Institute provides a broad range of general and specialized consultancy incorporating:
 

  • Assisting clients in the development of quality systems and food safety programs.
     
  • Conducting compliance audits to monitor the effectiveness of implementation and conformance to the Food Safety Program and the associated legislative requirements.
     
  • Conducting general hygiene and good manufacturing practice (GMP) inspections.
    Performing microbiological analysis of contact surfaces to verify the effectiveness of cleaning operations.
     
  • Developing a program for the microbiological monitoring of food items.
    Where required, liaise (on behalf of the client) with the local and state government bodies responsible for quality and/or food safety requirements.
     
  • Where required, liaise with other service contractors, providing quality and/or food safety related services

Nicole Jupp - Qualifications:

Bachelor Applied Science (Environmental health), HACCP Principles& Applications, Food Hygiene Auditing and Emergency Management
Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (Year obtained:2001), Diploma of Training & Assessment Systems (Year obtained:2003).

 

Todd Nelson - Qualifications:

Associate Diploma In Food Technology, Registered Lead Auditors Course (not active), Food Operations - Approved Supplier Program Course, Food Operations - HACCP Principles & Applications Course, Food sampling inspection certificate, Meat inspection certificate
Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (Year obtained:2001), Diploma of Training & Assessment Systems, (Year obtained:2003).
